The Mid-Alabama Republican Club's Veterans Day Program is this Saturday morning, and will feature Republican Nominee for the U.S. Senate Judge Roy Moore.
Before entering the judiciary, Judge Moore had a distinguished military career. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Judge Moore served several posts with the military police, before being deployed to Vietnam as a company commander. He was discharged from the Army as a Captain in 1974. We are delighted to be able to be able to hear from Judge Moore as part of our tribute to our nation's Veterans.
We'll also have Boy Scout Troop 367 of Riverchase United Methodist Church open the program by presenting and posting the colors, and then leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
And don't forget, this month we are holding elections for next year's MARC board. We have the slate of candidates posted on the website, as well as some proposed bylaw changes, which you can read by clicking here and here.
We hope to see you there, and bring a friend or family member with you.
